ahundredtimes · 25/11/2007 17:19

Ikea.

White ones with a high rim, or black the same.

Ikea.

MarvinSuggsAndTheMuppephone · 25/11/2007 17:23

how does the candle one work?

100x is quite right, Ikea all the way.

MarvinSuggsAndTheMuppephone · 25/11/2007 17:25

or Matalan good for plain white dishes el cheapo

Camillathechicken · 25/11/2007 17:26

Asda have nice plain white rectangular ones

SheepishPeachesMcLean · 25/11/2007 17:26

Ikea do large white platter type round ones.

Mirrors and candles sounds dodgy.

Are you hearing us canape server?

IKEA.

Are you going to do an arrangement of triangular napkins on the side of the plate in case someone spills prawn and curry sauce on their tie?

Mercy · 25/11/2007 18:12

White. Not red and gold - ever.

Mirror plates and candles. What's that all about?

Greensleeves · 25/11/2007 18:15

God I despise Ikea

I like coloured plates. Red and gold - lovely. I also like shiny table confetti, candles, tinsel and various other things you Ikea-dulled drones would squawk at

Greensleeves · 25/11/2007 18:15

Then you must tell her where to buy cheaply these lovely things of which you speak Greeny.

Greensleeves · 25/11/2007 18:18

Ruby they would be perfect for our Snowman Night - how big are they? And what are they made of? Describe them please

LydiaTheTattooedLapin · 25/11/2007 18:22

I have huge gold chargers - I bought 12 last year. They were £2 each from Matalan, but 3 for 2; so I paid £16 all in for them .

which shop Ruby? Poundland?

LydiaTheTattooedLapin · 25/11/2007 18:23

I put the posh china on them for dinner parties (on black tablecloth - looks fab) and use them alone for canapes.

FrannyandZooey · 25/11/2007 18:24

oh gawd it is coming round to Snowman night again
