FrannyandZooey · 25/11/2007 18:34

watch out, parts of my pelvic floor are coming loose

Tutter · 25/11/2007 18:35

white plain

that's all

LydiaTheTattooedLapin · 25/11/2007 18:36

That would have been better without the extraneous "^", little blue mouse

QuintessentialShadowOfSnowball · 25/11/2007 18:41

It really depends.

For a more "formal" setting I use plain white, oval or square (but rounded), from John Lewis.

For a mums coffee morning, I use either colourful ceramic big platters from The Pier, or something I have made in the pottery cafe with the kids.

For something totally informal, involving sandwiches or cupcakes for children, I use plastic style trays with funny motives, rectangular or round.

QuintessentialShadowOfSnowball · 25/11/2007 18:43

Not that I have done anything remotely formal in 5 years.

Though have a posh event coming up that I am forced to host...

But it is not going to BE a posh event because I am hosting it, LOL!

LydiaTheTattooedLapin · 25/11/2007 18:47

I have this stuff for Christmas - it's very cute!

Oh LOVELY! It is really nice and seasonal.

But
That sounds the right tableware for my reindeer dinner party.

Not.

LydiaTheTattooedLapin · 25/11/2007 18:57

Reindeer is tasty. And low in fat

QuintessentialShadowOfSnowball · 25/11/2007 18:58

Yes. But I am cooking it in a sourcream sauce with brown goats cheese.... so not really a diet option!

LydiaTheTattooedLapin · 25/11/2007 18:59

goats cheese, ick

QuintessentialShadowOfSnowball · 25/11/2007 19:02

Bet you havent tasted Norwegian brown goats cheese, it has more in common with caramell than actualy cheese. Perfect for a gamey style sauce. My sister informs me she is using it when she is cooking rabbit for dinner.

LydiaTheTattooedLapin · 25/11/2007 19:04

I haven't tasted ANY - well, only once and that's when I found out I am allergic to it

QuintessentialShadowOfSnowball · 25/11/2007 19:05

Well, that is a pretty good excuse!

LydiaTheTattooedLapin · 25/11/2007 19:06

And oysters. So if you want to kill me off, feed with oysters with a goat's cheese sauce

LydiaTheTattooedLapin · 25/11/2007 19:07

future no stitching involved!

QuintessentialShadowOfSnowball · 25/11/2007 19:10

Oysters in goats cheese sauce, that sounds pretty horrid!! Yuck!
