dd2 cries all the way to and from the school run because of the cold(we walk about a mile each way)
She wears thick coat ,boots and tights, and hat and gloves when eventually she gives in to wearing them. She hates to be restrained in anyway so will not keep a blanket on or even the raincover when needed. She can't walk as it is too far and i don't have time.
She is too big for a cosytoes ,she is nearly 2.

What can i buy to keep her warmer?

i cut up a pound shop fleece blanket and made it into sort of cosey toes with legs so that ds was covered but not restrained,i made it big so he can keep shoes on inside for when he want to walk.might help?

All-in-one snow suit type thing?

Trousers over tights at least I would think.

MrsSlowLearner · 23/11/2007 21:43

yes was thinking along the lines of an all in one but don't know where to look for one.

TK Maxx usually have proper ski ones at this time of year that would keep her very warm.

My ds (9 mnths) has one of these and it is really long - it looks like it would fit him until about 3 (as it says on the website) and I do have tall dc's. The fleece is really thick and warm
