It's for a friend (honest!) and I can't be ar$ed to run the whole site through google's transation tools to find out. They're apparently in stock, I worked that out.

They're in stock, but they're not delivering to the UK. You can put it in your basket, but once you tell the site you want to get it delivered to a UK address, you get a 'sod off' message, more or less.

Well, that was the situation last week or whenever I tried.

Scootergrrrl · 23/11/2007 12:35

If not, have it delivered to my German address and I'll post it on for you.

SoupDragon · 23/11/2007 12:41

NQC, I saw that on another MN thread and the implication was that they'd started UK deliveries again.

If it were for me, Scooter I'd take you up on that kind offer

Doesn't look like it - I just tried and got this message: Dieser Artikel kann leider nicht an den von Ihnen gewünschten Ort versandt werden. Sie können entweder die Versandadresse ändern oder den Artikel aus Ihrer Bestellung löschen, indem Sie die Stückzahl auf 0 setzen und anschließend auf "Aktualisieren" klicken. ( Länder mit Versandbeschränkungen)

I think you can get it from DE amazon sellers, but not from Amazon.de itself, iyswim.

NotQuiteCockney · 23/11/2007 12:44

Here is that in English:

This article cannot be dispatched unfortunately to the place wished by you. They can change either the ship-to address or delete the article from your order, by setting afterwards the number of items to 0 and on "updating" click (countries with restrictions of dispatch)

SoupDragon · 23/11/2007 12:50

Yes, I've just struggled through registration etc to get that

Very difficult when you speak no german!

I think it's because it's an electrical item having struggled through the "exclusions" link.

Will talk to friend at school pick up. She claims to have given up.

If you need me, just shout. I promise not to nick it when it arrives - mine are only three and 18 months and thankfully oblivious to the whole thing!

SoupDragon · 23/11/2007 14:01

Tempted to buy another one for us and flog it on Ebay!

But I'm not that unscrupulous...

Any guesses at P&P to the UK? [clueless]

There was a rumour on HotUK deals that HMV online were having stock today....

Scootergrrrl · 23/11/2007 14:16

I'm not sure tbh, although depending whereabouts you are, I have friends coming over to visit next week from near Leicester so I could always send it with them if you're anywhere near there.

SoupDragon · 23/11/2007 14:20

LOL! I (and friend) are South London unfortunately.
