Hi wonder if you can all help me find a new phone. Have Sony Xperia XZ1 compact, its fine, getting a bit old, want to get a replacement, sim free.
I am so confused! All the phones look to be much bigger.
Is there a small phone I can buy, with a decent camera, splashproof for about £300/£400? not keen on apple if I can avoid it :)
thanks for any advice anyone can give, google is just making my brain spin

I'm thinking of upgrading g from the samsung x cover 4 to the new 5 as it is smaller than loads of others and the 4 has been pretty bombproof. It's really tough and survived many drops on the stone floor but also does the job.
I keep being distracted by ridiculously expensive ones I dont need!

Go to your local phone shop and discuss options. Make notes on feature etc as well, good luck to you. Perhaps the staff can advise you on phones.

I ended up getting a pixel 4a. It's still bigger than I'd like and bigger than the phone it replaced (Samsung A3 2017) but seemed about the smallest decent android phone
