PillockOfTheCommunity · 21/11/2007 20:58

As of October 31st 2007

I'll start with the Stage 2/3 car seats as I think that's what most people are after, then work my way through

They all have the following categories rated /5
Front crash
Side crash
Overall safety
Fitting in car
Buckling up
Daily use

Then an overall percentage

Of the Best Buys, we have the Concord Lift Evo already in exp's car, and I have bought the Britax Evolva 2-3 today, as I didn't really feel that the extra money was worth it, when the only real difference we could see was that the Concord reclines, buut both seem very good seats

No, that's not on the ones they've checked, Bebe Confort they tested one seat from each stage, Creatis, Iseos, Hipsos

I was to see that not only is there one that cost £195, it's on the Don't Buy list!

Eliie I am confused with car seats stage 2/3 is that for J or M?

PillockOfTheCommunity · 21/11/2007 21:36

For M, had to replace both my car seats because of the accident, these are all high back boosters that use the adult seat belt, the only one with an internal harness is the Evolva 1-2-3

OP posts:
PillockOfTheCommunity · 21/11/2007 21:36

For J I've got to get a Stage 1 seat, 9mths-4yrs

OP posts:
oooggs · 21/11/2007 21:58

got it!!! I have the Maxi Cosi Rodi xp which fairs ok in the report - thankfully. I need to get a stage 1.

PillockOfTheCommunity · 21/11/2007 22:07

Stage one is my current dilemma!
The only best buys are the Isofix models
will do the stage 1 next

OP posts:
oooggs · 21/11/2007 22:23

I don't have ISOFIX, had planned to get the M&P Pro Tec but having seen it I'm not so sure. I think if they were more like 15mths then it would be fine, but J looked lost in it. Am pretty much set on the Maxi Cosi Tobi I think.

I know you can't put a price on a childs life but they are so expensive for around 2.5 yrs

VanillaPumpkin · 22/11/2007 16:37

This is great info Pillock. Thank you.
