Walkie talkies !

My 4 yr girl has requested a walkie Talkie for xmas ! Can anyone recommend any good ones ?

Can't recommend a good one (but will await other posts with interest as we are thinking of this).

Our DS was given the ELC one - I wouldn't rush to recommend - could hardly hear (hence the search for better!)

DD has the disney princess ones and they don't work

who would she walk and talk too?

if there is someone, Disney Store do a toy story one...dunno how good it is but it looks good so thats half the battle won

I was even wondering about proper grown up ones, after my last experience.

We've given these to various of DD's friends, but no idea how good they are. Batteries are very ££ as I recall, though.

Family set? Again, no idea how good, but Tchibo stuff is usually pretty OK.

We've had various childrens' sets & not been impressed with any of them - the reception is poor and they never remember to switch them off, so you go through batteries at a rate of knots!

Mum has got ds1 a National Geographic set. No idea where from, but she reckons they'll be good?
