Where do I get them from at two minutes notice?

Ask at your local sports store and the bigger ones if you can get there. I got some for my ds the day he asked for them, they're usually behind the counter.

DumbledoresGirl · 18/11/2007 11:36

I bought some for ds in John Lewis (sports dept)

LIZS · 18/11/2007 11:42

Good sports shops do boil and bite ones fro alls izes. ds had one done at school, previously at dentist.

soapbox · 18/11/2007 11:43

Thanks to both of you!

I hope they have small sizes!

I'm a bit confused because they aren't supposed to do contact rugby until Y$ - but apparently are starting them early.

Oh well - better get shopping, I suppose!

Thanks to you too Liz - the boil and bite ones would do I think!

I thought they were all boil and bite ones? The one in JL certainly was anyway.

LIZS · 18/11/2007 13:12

ds ' one is moulded - they take a cast of the teeth then make a shield to fit. The sprt shop ones you just soften the mould by boiling and bite down on them, think you can redo them too.

Soapbox,

Apologies for the intrusin#on in this post but could be possible for you to share the TK MAxx's location where you found the frette linens?

Thanks

soapbox · 18/11/2007 22:50

No problem bedlinens - it was Bromley.

I have to say that I have never ever seen them in again, despite looking every time I go in!

I did make up for it though by having a splurge in the Frette shop when I was in Florence recently

Many thanks

Our dentist told us he actually prefers the boil and bite ones as they can be remoulded as the children's mouths change. Otherwise, if you have the megga expensive ones made that they will try to flog you when they go to secondary school, you're hardly likely to have them re-made very often.
