there were negative reports on the news about them (maybe something on bbc news site?)

Sorry, do realise it's an i-phone not an I-phone! Hmm, I am seriously tempted.

I want one too! Am currently put off by the £269 cost on top of the ?£35 monthly bill. Pay £20 per month at the moment, and am not sure it would be worth the extra money (tightwad emoticon)

I have one and it is LOVELY. I feel seriously cool. All my mates are jealous too!

my dp has got one. he's a total gadget person and normally i don't really bother but I have say I was really impressed with the i-phone. The ability to zoom in and out of pictures using your fingers is amazing. I thin k it sets a new level for phones/mp3/laptop to match.
He's donated his old ipod to me which is fab.

Thank you all. I watched the video demonstration on the Apple site and I do want one but may wait until early next yr when my contract is up for renewal.

I went to have a look at the new iphone as I was interested in having one, but if I am honest as brill as it looked, and as clever as it is, it would be like going back to having a brick ... to me. sorry

I played with one in a phone shop last weekend. They ARE way cool BUT I believe the government 'Competition Watchdog' are onto them for such incredibly restrictive practice! I wish I could remember where I read it- probably in the Guardian.
