I'd order one from Argos, you can actually sign onto a waiting list with them you know, so your's won't get sold!

dollyk · 17/11/2007 10:52

FRIZBE I have been on argos but I can get a reserve no what do I have to do

The only ones I can find are the ones of Amazon trade and Play.com trade and they are more expensive.

LadyTophamHatt · 17/11/2007 11:29

you need the Wii stock alert websites, they flash up on screen when stock is somewhere.

hang on will find them...

LadyTophamHatt · 17/11/2007 11:33

I got ours from Dixons, they seem to get stock quite regulary. Normally between 10 and 11am.

you need to have those alert site open all the time, which is a bit of a pain if the children are around when an alert pops up, also sign up for the emial alert to make doubley sure you get the info.

Good Luck.

Nbg · 17/11/2007 11:44

I've just had that alert site up. I think it was one of the first few results from Google.

dollyk · 17/11/2007 19:58

I have had the alert page on all day has anyone got a wii today

Have found this Wii
on Ebay at £183 - looks too good to be true? What am I missing (worried that I will be bidding on a picture of a Wii ...!)

Frizbe · 18/11/2007 20:27

sorry only just got back to this! dh reserved one in store!

bonkerz · 18/11/2007 20:32

ange dont bid. look in feedback and it is a scam. he has 87% on buying alone and 8/10 feedback for seller is negative!! DONT BUY FROM HIM!!!!!

bonkerz - yes, the feedback last night was not bad, but just lacking, and all from sellers rather than buyers, for small items. Now its clear something is very wrong with this sale. V sad. Hope nobody was persuaded to buy by my link ...

bubblerock · 18/11/2007 21:19

Glad you didn't do it!! Has to be a total scam as he wouldn't make any money after fees (his name is also a place in Nigeria ) He's been spotted over on MSE and reported but he's already sold hundreds over the last couple of days.

LadyTophamHatt · 19/11/2007 14:10

Does the {smile] mean you've got one, dolly?

scrummymummy1965 · 19/11/2007 19:12

Not sure if anyone is interested, but I got DS's Wii from Gamestation through an e-mail to say when they would be in stock. Today I have received an e-mail from them advising that since I have already bought from them they are giving me another chance to do so via a link that they sent. (Wii bought on Wed received on Fri a few weeks ago.

This is the link and it can be accessed from 10.30am Tuesday morning

Not sure if just the Wii itself can be bought or if it has to be a bundle. The e-mail states that the Wiis will not be freely available on their website tomorrow only the link can get you one. From Wednesday they will go on sale to the general public.

scrummymummy1965 · 19/11/2007 19:17

Not sure if the link has appeared properly
