I know it has probably been done before, but I need a laptop... any recommendations?

It needs to be cheap, cheap, cheap and I need to be able to get on mumsnet whenever I want.

that's it, that's all I want to do.

Anyone got any ideas?

I can't tell you what to buy, but I can tell you to avoid HP like the plague. Ds's laptop's motherboard died after 10 months and HP customer service is dreadful.

I have an Acer one,it has never given me any problems.
Think it was fairly cheap but can't remember
