1. stay away from m&s lingerie dept, it may look pretty but it doesn't cut the mustard
2. try john lewis, if big boobs then freya or fantasie stuff is great, especially balconette styles

oh yes and try on a few different styles. and jl staff tell it straight, ime

if d or bigger, go to bravissimo and get measured

and is this for matwear / bfing?

Go to Bravissimo even if you're currently wearing a C as they may tell you that you're actually a D cup.
