Storage of sterilised bottles

Hi all
We’ve recently bought an electric steriliser however I was assuming I could put it away and store bottles in a drawer once sterilised... now I’m reading instructions it implies you need to keep the bottles in the machine meaning it’s always out. Is that the same with all sterilisers? Where do you keep your bottles?
Think you so much!!!

I do either - keeping them in the steriliser or putting them together and storing on the worktop. What I would say though is that you might be using the steriliser a couple of times a day and it will become a real hassle getting it out and putting it away each time, I would leave it out on the worktop instead.

The unit only stays sterile until it's opened.

We made a batch of feeds at night for the next 24 hours (following WHO guidelines) so they'd be kept in the fridge then washed and placed in steriliser until it switched on and repeat.

#2 was breastfed so we just had a bottle in the cupboard to use when needed.

I left mine in the steriliser although I think pretty much as soon as you take the lid of it's no longer 100 % sterile so you could take the bottles out. However I was using it at least twice a day for months so much easier to leave on the side.
