Nitty Gritty do one

Its tee tree essential oil, A tiny little bottle ( about 10ml) and costs about a fiver, most chemists sell it, put 3 drops in a litre bottle with spray lid, and spray roots and scalp each morning, it is very effective, though I think they have now discovered it has a link to luekemia(sp)

So I have switched to vinega, it is just as effective, 2 tea spoons of vineaga in the bottle, you can not smell the vinega once hair is dry, we have been nit free for 2 years now using this method[smile

thank you the vinegar sounds perfect.

my son put his head on mine and said 'now you've got nits' obviously it's the way someone is spreading them at school.

You dont need to use the vinega every day either, just after each hair wash, when hair is dry though so you are not diluting it even more

In my local Saisnburys they have a tea tree shampoo for kiddies and also in my local Wilkinsons store they had the tea tree spray.

hope that helps. x
