We need a new family car. There are three of us. We've got a small holding and live rurally so a 4x4 is necessary (specially when the hilly roads around here ice up), but we won't be going completely crosscountry, only sometimes across fields. I want a large boot space because it's practical. My budget is £15-20,000 for a second hand car. The first car I've come across which would fit our needs is the Mitsubishi Outlander. It's a plus that it's a hybrid. How have others found this car to be a family car? Can you please recommend other comparable cars we can look at? I'm looking for an 4x4 estate I think.
