I know I'm late, but have to add my two-pennorth worth! Cluedo Junior is rubbish - it is badly conceived, very simplistic, and doesn't really work for any ages. It is certainly not to be compared with other games such as Junior Monopoly or Junior Scrabble, which actually have some value.

DS1 (7 as you know) loves playing (adult) Cluedo.

In general I would say adult Cluedo from about age 7, or possibly earlier depending on the child. But don't bother with Junior Cluedo for any age.
