Realistically, how much could I get a small portrait of me and the kids done for ???

My mum has been an absolute star to me and my kids recently, looking after them when I am at college, and cleaning my house for me, cooking my tea etc.

I want to get her a lovely xmas pressie anxd as I know she doesn't have a photo of me and all 3 kids together, I thought that would be something she would love.

Thing is though, am I going to be looking at mega money for a sitting and a small pic ?? I don't mind buying a nice (cheap frame for it myself, but really want a nice professionally done picture.

I know you want pic professionally done, but if you can find someone to take the photo, Next Directory do very reasonable service of framing or putting on canvas. I did this for dh the Xmas before last and took the photo myself (obviously I wasn't in it!!)

Thats a good idea, just not sure who I could get to take a good pic. Will have a think.
