I can't remember which large shop/supermarket mentioned in a flyer that they were selling Organic advent calendars for children.

Has anyone seen them around in the shops

I've bought a Marks and Spencer advent calendar which is organic and Fair Trade. Was that the one you have seen?

stylishmum · 14/11/2007 12:22

I have seen organic advent calenders in Boots the supermarket

HeadHeartorHormones · 14/11/2007 12:24

? Are you going to eat it or wear it?

bobsmum · 14/11/2007 12:28

You want one with "Divine" chocolates in it. Traidcraft might be doing them again this year?

  • Just googled - it's fairly traded, but not necessarily organic.

Organic doesn't necessarily mean fair trade though, so I would go for the fair trade one

HeadHeartorHormones · 14/11/2007 12:38

Oh chocolate! . I've just showed my age haven't I.

mcnoodle · 14/11/2007 12:42

Chocolate advent calenders - all wrong.

IMO

How do you control the opening of the windows - i.e. stop them scoffing the contents on the first day?

DS2 took all the chocolates out of the back one year so the doors and foil stayed intact but the chocs were gone >

why poncey?
the idea of child slave trade chocolate is abhorrant any time of the year imho..

PestoMonster · 14/11/2007 14:34

M & S

bobsmum · 14/11/2007 14:38

Organic = a tad poncey granted
Fair trade = essential

bah humbug to those who disagree.

HairyIrene · 14/11/2007 15:07
