i've just bought this on amazon and am really disappointed. firstly, i've bought the one with upper case letters by mistake. secondly, the recording quality is so poor that i fail to see how it could help anyone to learn their sounds!

is there something wrong with mine, or does yours have quite indistinct sounds too? ( i dont want to swap it for the lower case version if it's going to be just as bad).

Our lower case set is fine, just bloody annoying - but ds loved it.

The sound on ours is fine, both children aged 4 and 2 absolutely love them. MIL bought them the fridge animals in fench and english too - our kitchen can be quiote loud and random at times

Sounds like you've got a dodgy set - send them back.

No nothing like it

ok, some letters are worse than others. like 'r' and 'c'. really unclear. it says 'c says cuh and XXxxxxx' (for xxxx, read interference)

's' is dreadful too. the s sounds like radio interefence. you'd never guess what it was saying if you didnt already know.
