Record player that plays 33, 45 *and* 78?

I'd like to get my dad a turntable for Christmas so he can play all his old records, but I don't really want one of the retro ones in a big wooden box that seem to be everywhere. Can anyone help, please?

Will he have an amp to plug it into or does it have to be a standalone unit?

Stand alone if possible.

Richer sounds do very good turntables but, they are not standalone. I can vouch for their customer service though, they are fantastic. here, have got to go, but will have a hunt about this evening to see if I can come up with any ideas.

Had a dig about and found this, it says it is standalone and has an adaptor for 45rpm, but not for 78s.
This one here plays 78s but it will need to be used with a pc.
And this looked interesting but, doesn't say whether it plays alternate speeds, (have to say, it does look very classy though)

Ooh, thanks for the research. Dad is a technophobe, but the third one looks interesting... Shall investigate further.

That last one I noticed says that they don't ship outside Japan but, it might be worth googling it to see if you can find another supplier.
