Anyone know what the strings on the hug-a-bub pocket are for?!?!

Don't know if I am being dense or have just not watched enough of the instructional dvd....

But what ARE the strings for the go round the top of the pocket on the hug-a-bub?

ummm dense I think....! pocket also acts as little bag to put whole thing in - just turn pocket inside out and stuff it all in ....the strings then act as the pull tight thingy for the bag, tah dah!
