Toyota Yaris - what car next?

We have a Toyota Yaris at the moment and when DC arrived 6 months ago I said to OH I thought we might need a bigger car. He didn’t want to get a new car, but now I’ve fitted DC’s new car seat the usable space left really does seem tiny.

I love my Yaris, and up until recently it had everything I needed. I’ve been looking at the Audi A3, Q2 or Volvo XC40 and wondering whether this will make a significant difference to the cabin and boot size (not only in practical terms but in feel) or whether all I’m going to do is make it harder for me to park (we live in Central London).

We don’t plan on having anymore children but we may get a dog at some point.

Does anyone have any experience with these cars in this context?

I loved my yaris and stuck with it throughout the baby years and beyond (nearly 12 years later now and 2 different Yarises as they don't last for ever) . It's only for a few months that the space is an issue. Once your baby is big enough to go in an umbrella-fold buggy there's a lot less kit and caboodle. I hate parking anything bigger than a yaris anyway.

@KihoBebiluPute Thanks for your comments. It is a great car. My Yaris is nearly 10-years old. It's definitely served me well!
