I've got Bosch Washing Machine and Dishwasher, which do you mean?

Whichever it is, don't understand the question!

LIZS · 01/11/2004 16:08

We had one - you have to put it back at a slight angle iirc, what do you mean by "which bit" ?

Tissy · 01/11/2004 16:11

Aah, think I get it! Which bit of drwawer to put the powder in!

On our machine, Slot II is on the left and is for the main wash, slot I on the right is for the prewash.

I put my fabric conditioner in Bit 1 and powder in Bit 2.

Tissy · 01/11/2004 16:35

in my machine, the fabric conditioner bit is in the middle and obviously smaller...marked with a flower

AuntyQuated · 01/11/2004 16:59

thnaks
flower bit is on the left, II is in the middle and is the biggest and I is on the right.
i've put it in II but most of it is still in the drawer when wash is finished. i've peeped inside drawer as machine starts and water flow seems to be going through the flower part!1
god, i feel really dizzy - why don't i know where to put the powder when i've had the machine for years???

The biggest bit with II is defintely for the powder and the flower for the conditioner. The I bit is for pre-wash stuff and I've never used it. If the powder isn't washing through you may not have put the drawer in properly. Try tipping it back a bit as you slide it in as Lizs says.

Are you selecting the right cycle as, iirc, on ours water only goes into the softener slot at the rinse stage . However on our II detergent slot there is a gadget to regulate the amount of water which can be slid forwards and backwards - perhaps you need to check if there is one on yours and make sure it is fully open to allow sufficient water through. I found it didn't always send enough through to dissolve the tablets.
