Ds (4.5) keeps going on about these.

He's never tried them.

Will he like them? Any idea?!

My dds have had roller blades for several years now. They really love them now, but when they first started they got a bit frustrated, so we used to limit how long they went on them for.

What age pestomonster?

DS1 (same age) has also asked, we have been looking at quad skates for him. The ones that extend and you just slip on over your shoe. Problem is that he has zero balance - he can't hop yet! going to try and put him off until his b'day in april!

mumofmosters - it's the quadskates i'm looking at, just wondered if anyone had had any success with them...

ds is also 5 in april and that'd be a much better time of year for such a gift, but I'm REALLY struggling with what to get him for Chrstimas. Any suggestions?!

my DS2 had early learning tri-skates for his fourth birthday in september (together with assorted knee/elbow/wrist pads and crash helmet... oh mum of little faith )

he is now a whizz on them!

PestoMonster · 11/11/2007 20:27

About 4 & 6 I think they were when they first started. They are really whizzy on 'em now. I used to go out with them, on mine, but now I don't have the stamina to keep up all the time!
LOL

we are struggling money wise but are looking at Harry potter figures (ebay or amazon market place), some sort of game that he can share with his nearly 3 yo brother (in my imagination they will share ) erm...we have blue thomas track and wooden track so things to go with that always go down well and the usual book each and selection box!

tis a small xmas in the monster house!

If you live stockport ish, there is a little shop in macc that is like a menagerie of toys and ds1 LOVES it in there!

MerlinsBeard · 11/11/2007 20:28

gigglewitch, we already have those, they were free with his bike last year he goes on his scooter with them on

tassisssss · 11/11/2007 20:35
