Ford B-max and driving automatic for first time

Has anyone got or had a ford B-max? How do/did you find it?
Also any advice on going from driving manuals to getting an automatic car? Found an automatic B-max we like due to how child friendly it seems and good safety reviews but due to Covid unable to test drive it and I've never driven an automatic!! Will I regret it?

Can’t advise on B Max but switching to an automatic is very easy.

We switched last November, hadn’t driven an automatic since I bunny hopped 10 feet along the road aged 19. No one told me the car would move when I lifted my foot off the brake🤣🤣

We didn’t have a chance to test drive our new mini due to COVID nonsense but it wasn’t a problem, it was so easy to adjust to and I love my automatic to bits now.

Automatics are so easy to drive and no worries with hill starts😎 I would never go back now and I had driven a manual for almost 30 years.

We have had a Ford Galaxy which served us well for years and I loved my little Ka many years ago. I’ve always liked Ford cars but my heart belongs to Mini so that’s what we have now we no longer need large family cars.

I started driving automatics over 30 years ago and have managed to convert all my family to doing so too.

The best advice I can give is to tuck your left foot back against the the front of the seat and keep it there.

I tend to keep my left leg gently pushed against the central console so I can feel it’s there iyswim. It serves as a gentle reminder I don’t need to use that leg.
