DS2 (14 months) is climbing out of his booster chair. Does anyone recommend the Stokke? is the harness you can buy with it good for wriggly small boys?

I have one and love it. DS is 2.2 and I bought a second one for DD (6 months). TBH I find the straps more problems than they are worth. (I bought mine from the web site I bought the seat from and then saw them cheaper in Tescos BTW). DS stays put in his most of the time and the few falls he has had are enough to keep him there. I think the fact that he is at the correct height for the table helps a lot.

I really recommend them, but mine have had them from 6 months, so that could make a difference.

I love the highchair, but the harness doesn't stop my wriggly ds (18 months) from climbing out. TBH I've given up trying to stop him - a battle I can't win or be bothered to fight anymore.

our harness cost a fiver and was virtually unescapable from
from lilliput website when we got chair

love the chairs, do recommend...

still going strong and looking good

ds still loves his (2 and a bit now) and i love the fact that we don't have a huge highchair taking uplots of space. have recently taken front bar off so he can climb in and out on his own as i am pregnant. never had the straps and used it from 6mo, i would definitely recommend, only thing that annoyed me was fact that you had to take apart to wash the fabric seat but as i am quite slummy i made to with scrubbing occaisionally and giving it a proper go in the washing machine everytie we changed the height etc.

I took the fabric cover off as soon as ds2 could manage without for that reason. I think you only need the fabric when they are really little to stop them sliding about. He's 14 mths now, and hasn't been using the cushions for 4 or 5 months.

all three of my boys have the stokke chairs, when they were under one i used the front bar with it and reigns but once they could climb up and down safely, by 18months at the latest?

i would thoroughly recomend the chairs and 'bump' due in feb will also be getting one
