BODEN sizing question or those of you who have boght trousers from them before

I have never bought from Boden before, but am tempted by some trousers in the sale. Myquestion is this; Are the sizes quite 'large'? Because I am normally a 14, occasionally a 16, but the measurements they give mean I should buy a 12. I haven't been a 12 for a long while!

No, their sizes are small. I usually wear a 12 but order a 14 with Boden. I ordered a pair of their slim jeans in a 14 & they were too small across the tummy.

I sometimes buy their 10's sometimes their 12, it varies MADLY

I think they come up large. I'm a size 12/14 and my recent pair of size 12 jeans are a bit loose at the end of a day's wear.

Jonny does love to flatter, how happy would I be if I could fit into a size 10.

it must depend on your shape. I've got a bit of a tummy but small boobs & slim legs.

I have no hips, and they fit me fine

oh dear.I have bit of a tum, normal child bearing hips, normal/solid legs, I'm quite tall...this isn't going to work is it? I often buy online for the kids, but not for myself, and this is why.

Any thoughts re leg length? I measured and it sugests I only need regular, but I am 5'9, so who buys the long size if not me?

nonono, never buy trousers on line, they almost never fit and they might fit and not look good... (at least this is my mantra)

ok, I'm going for a 12 long, which is what I should be according to their measurements. So if they don't fit, I will be cross with Boden, whereas if I buy a 14 and its wrong, it will by my fault for not having faith in them.

Getting a top in 14 though, due to norkage.
