Stone under new lino!!!!!!! Arggggghhhhhhh! Advice please!

Had smart new lino fitted on Monday and have just noticed a piece of what seems like gravel underneath it - right by the fridge door! Sooner or later this is bound to split! Should I ring the company that fitted it? What will they do? - I guess taking it up is not an option as it is all stuck down and is bound to be a disaster! Anyone had the same problem???????

Ring them, they obviously didn't clean the surface properly. Do it sooner rather than later! They may well have to take it up but that is their problem.

Yes, tell them to come bak and sort it!

Don't know what they'll do, but if they can't get it up and down again neatly they'll have to re-fit it at your expense.

DH would probably say that it's easier to cut down onto the stone with a sharp knife

Really! I wondered if they might slit the lino, remove stone and then repair with glue or something????
