NINTENDO DS LITE/ DAMAGED CASE

Can someone please help? DD1 has dropped her DS lite down the stairs and the casing has smashed on the corner and the shoulder (flip screen) has come off on one side. She hasn't even had it a year.
Can you buy a replacement casing? if so, is it easy to put together? or do I just get the superglue out and hope for the best.
p.s. I didn't take out extra accidental insurance cover with GAME

This happened my sister's dds recently. She contacted Nintendo directly and spoke to their customer services, told them exactly what happened and said surely it should be more robust. The customer service agent got her to send it back to them directly and she got a brand spanking new one out by return. Its worth a try.

Cheers I'll try that
