I really need to get a new pushchair ASAP and I am so confused I love the funky colours and the description of the Jane energy but I don't know anyone who has one can anyone review this for me???? please. The other one I was considering is the Maclaren Techno but it is abot 50 ponuds more expensive and the colours are abit boring. I need this as my main pushchair for my 15 month old and it need to last for atleast 2 years as I don't want to buy another one. I do not want the quest as the wheels are too small I need one which would ride through parks, gravel, cobbles and bumpy pavements but will use it only in the city. I travel quite frequently so I need it to survive cargo holds of planes too. any advice greatly appreciated I am so confused!!!!! HELP

Not sure if this is much help but have a Jane 360 Powertrack and its still going strong after nearly 5 years constant use.

Hopefully someone else can help a bit more on the specifics.

I have the Jane Energy. Tis fab I love it and any of my friends who've had a push have made similar positive comments. What sold it to me was the height (I'm tall) and it's different from the zillions of maclarens you see. It reclines really well and extremely easily compared to my travel system pushchair. It's sturdy and had taken some batterings but at nearly a year old it still looks nearly new. Shopping basket is also more accessible than my other one, and although looks small can take more with balancing stuff up. Pros: the lock to hold it together when folded can be a bit fiddly - I have to use both hands, whereas on my other pushchair I just use my foot. Also the accessories (like raincover) are expensive and the rain cover isn't particularly easy for taking off without soaking your child - you certainly wouldn't put it up/down as you pop in to different shops! But I love it. DS 17 months is happy in there, will sleep in there etc. HTH.

Thanks for the comments ladies. Weegle can you tell me if the jane Energy is a one handed fold and does it have a pocket or anything at the back for storage. and also is the suspension fairly good as the road around our way leave much to be desired. do you think it would survive of i put my 17 kg 3 1/2 yr old in it some times.

I am also looking at the silver cross pop if anyone has any comments on that one????

Also are the handles of the energy really high as I am quite short (5" 3')

well I've never managed it one handed - hence I listed that in my cons (which I usefully wrote at "pros", sorry lack of sleep!). No it doesn't have a pocket at the back - i just hang my pram bag over the back though anyway. And DS is v heavy, not sure in kilos but 30lbs and I have no probs with that.

I was hoping it could be dont one handed with 2 kids my hands are usually holding either 1 or the other. oh well its still a nice buggy

I have the energy, agree with all the pro's, it is light and comfortable and it can hold a lot of stuff on the back.

Also agree re. price of accessories and the slightly annoying way it folds down and, in my case, never quite catching shut properly. It is now about 6 months old, the wheels are looking quite worn and there is no tred left on them, every time it is folded up and then opened again something cracks and the frame becomes that much less rigid (good job I don't fold it up all that much), and it is quite tall, I am about 5ft 6 and I find it just a teeny tiny bit too tall.

TBH, I wouldn't change it now I have it, but I don't think I'd rush out to buy another one (I might have to rush to buy a different one all together if the frame keeps getting worse!)
