My mum complains about sleeping on the guestbed the in-laws bought as it's not a proper double size. So i'm looking to buy an airbed. One of the ones where it's higher off the ground, iykwim, and wondered if anyone had slept on one?

I find them very comfy but then again I could sleep on a telegraph pole!

The ones that are raised up are the best as they give extra cushioning.

Hi - yup afraid I cavd ina boght one when going camping, got old and dont liek the thought of stones ibedded in hips! I bought a thin self inflating one, which is great (was about £20 and lasted 3 years) then the eal round the outside went and would go to sleep off ground andwake up touching it! Also have an inflatable one for inside as spare bed when we have guests - very comfy, Argos I think and packs away into box cos we havent got space for bg spare double bed i spare room - wouldnt have an office otherwise! horses

Thanks for replying. Have seen one on ebay for £33 delivered so will probably get that.
