micralite front wheel issues - i want to scream

i know several people have shared my problem with the front wheels shearing off. However, i've been sent replacement wheels very swiftly by kiddicare, but the bloody red clip thing just won't engage in the spindle and kiddicare are now just ignoring my emails about it, so i'm stuck without a buggy. just wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue with the red clips on the new model wheels ie whether they are just crap or whether i'm being an idiot for not being able to fit them. i'm so cross I want to scream and cry at the same time. will phone micralite themselves on monday i suppose to see if i get any joy about what to do.
any advice from anyone who's had this problem?

Thay don't push all the way on, is what we decided. They just go part way, but there's no way they would click over the whole metal bar. We decided that they probably weren't intended to.

Try Micralite direct - they were very helpful when our front wheel broke off. it is possible that we are wrong about the red clip only going part way.

thanks. i called micralite and you're right, they don't need to go all the way to the 2nd hole, just to the first notch. seems a bit insecure to me, but they assured me it is correct! thanks for replying.
