How do I source a part?

Hi all, sorry if this is a really stupid question But I am an absolute novice when it comes to cars and I have no confidence in myself in finding the right parts. The heater blower fan unit has gone on my Honda Civic 2011 and I need to source the part to replace it. My local garages are struggling to find it and even the Honda dealership have said they would be difficult and in the region of £400 plus to source from them. I've done a Google search and they seem to be coming up really cheap but we random titles. I know I know I probably sound really stupid but I don't know where to even start looking for this sort of thing. Is there a trustworthy website I can go on where I put my reg in? I've had a look on Euro parts but nothing seems to be coming up.
I currently have no heating or blower working in my car and I am a single parent with two young children so I'm very worried about driving around especially in this icy weather when my windows keep steaming up :(
So stressed!

Is there a scrap yard near you? You can often phone them and ask for random parts like this and they sell them on cheaply but you will have to ask if they can remove it for you or have you tried ebay? I don’t know the exact bit you need but can the garage tell you the name so you can do a proper search?
