Are there any set top boxes which can link to a tv without a scart socket ? Wondering if it is feasible for our aged bedroom tv.

You should be able to set one up using the aerial cable going into the digibox and then an RF loop from there to the TV. The picture might not be as good as with a SCART.

Do you have a main aerial connection in your bedroom? Digibox unlikely to work with simply a set-top type one.

The tv is plugged into the main aerial point so that can easily go into a box. Feeling thick needing to ask , but what is an rf loop ?

we got a connector that is scart on one end (that goes into the freeview box) and then different connectors on the other end (that goes into the tv) - it's not co-axial though, it goes into a different socket.
maplin, ours is the scart - 3 phone leads one I think. You need to check out what other inputs there are on the TV.

Sorry, went off to watch Heroes

RF loop is basically just another piece of aerial cable, running from the RF out on the digibox (will be labelled), to the aerial socket on the TV.
