Honda CRV/Buying car from web

Looking at getting a second hand, likely around 3 year old CRV. It’ll be for 2 adults, 2 kids and a medium dog. What are your thoughts/ recommendations as there are a lot of different engine sizes etc. It’s for the main family car but I’ll be using regularly for work for small, short journeys 0.5mile-3 miles a time 4/5 times a day.

We’re also likely to buy it having not test driven/seen as need before end of March and unsure when lockdown will end. Any advice from anyone who has done this?

I wouldn’t advise buying any car, especially used, without test driving it.

You should be able to get a contactless test drive, assuming that you're buying from a dealer. Check your local dealer's website.

I just bought a used car un-test driven. Was fine and ironically our last car we did test drive and it ended up being a money pit!

However I would have waited but DH keen to get moving
