That pretty much says it. DD's birthday is soon and she's been obsessed by babies and buggies for the whole of the last year.

She's due to get a new sister on (or around) her birthday in a few weeks (she'll be 4) and has had a few issues regarding the new baby.

We want to get her a REALLY gorgeous pram for her doll for her birthday. The budget doesn't stretch to a £200 silver cross one but we want something that looks great, isn't rickety (some prams do seem to be don't they?) and will feel and look special.

Any suggestions?

(check the handle height though)

DD has "this onewww.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3837373/Trail/C%24cip%3D1500006108.Toys%2Band%2Bgames%3EC% 24cip%3D1500006129.Dolls%2Band%2Bplaysets%3EC%24cip%3D1500006135.Dolls%2Bprams%2Band%2Bfurniture.htm" I don't know if it quite what you are looking for though but it's great for her age and looks smart. I love the one MrsBadger linked to but i twould be too small for my DD.

Thanks for those one's they are lovley (and both were on my short list when we looked).

Have either of you bought either of these prams and do you know if they feel fairly sturdy? (not sure if that's the right word for a childs pram but you know what I mean)

DD has the cheaper one and it is sturdy for a dolls pram, she loves it.

the M&P one is bigger...

both look pretty sturdy imo - more so than this or this sort

toys r us have several different Silver Cross ones too

dd had the SC junior ranger in Blossom (grey/pink check with pink flower) for her 5th b'day. She's not tall so think a 4yr old could handle it fine as the handle can change height. Very smart and dd uses it a lot. You can get a slightly posher version with more accessories too www.stevenstoymaster.com/acatalog/info_5014761385066.html.

Her's a better pic and price although not sure the handle adjusts. Chassis and interchangeable carrycot/seat more like the real thing .
