Help with car features

I just missed out on a used car that was in our budget, a year old, and low mileage but had a few extras I hadn't really been looking for (or didn't think I cared about!

  • Leather seats
  • Heated seats & steering wheel
  • Opening sunroof

Now I want them, but cant have them! Plenty of others in budget that have one but not all so my question is if you have any of these, could you live without them or are they a deal breaker? (especially sunroof)

Leather seats are a must-have for me as I find them easier to keep clean as I have a dog and I foster babies. The other things are nice but wouldn't be a deal breaker (although heated seats were definitely a bonus when driving home after a night shift in the frosty winter months).

None of those are a must for me.
Leather seats are nice and easy to keep clean but also easy to damage.
Heated seats I hate, they just make me feel a bit sweaty and uncomfortable. Heated steering wheel does nothing for me either and never use either feature in my car.
I would actively avoid a sunroof after the seal going on previous cars and it being another expense to get it fixed.

Heated windscreen on the other hand is first on my list for my next car

Heated seats can be hit and miss. Not uncommon for the lowest setting to be too hot.

Sunroof pointless if you have aircon

Thanks all, helps me to put things in perspective!
I've survived this long without heated seats and rarely drive early in the morning. If they were leather as well I'd probably get particularly sweaty!

I do love the idea of a big sunroof in summer, but equally, have survived without one this long and drive with the windows down instead, I guess the sunroof messes your hair up too.

well you've helped me not go to the top of my budget thank you!

Heated seats are essential noting nicer than getting into car on a freezing cold morning and the seats are already warmed.
