Nintendo DS lite games for younger children (your tried and tested recommendations)

....my 5 year old (yes I know she is young for a nintendo ds lite but it was invaluable on a 7 hour flight recently) enjoys:

"Interactive storybook ds series 1" - this has a magic harp which you can compose and play music back on, a drawing tool, a colouring section, a simple counting game and interactive stories

Also, Bratz Ponyz - put aside for a moment any aversion to bratz dolls, these are cute inoffensive ponies and you get to wash their manes, powder their faces, make necklaces for them etc (in preparation for a pony beauty pageant - cynics can go and hurl outside of the room please)

What games can you personally recommend which aren't too complex?

Mario karting is a sure winner, both ds's are champions at it, ds2 is only 3 and can play it with ease.

I may even hve played it myself one or twice.

I have a ds that my dd plays.
Dh bought me Donkey Kong racing (just like mario kart) but it was really for dd because I've never been on it lol.
I also bought her the disney cars game which she loves.

I'm off to have a look at the ones you have now.
They sound great.

Ds loves Mario Karting. He has just turned 5 yo.

My just 6 year old likes Super Mario, Donkey Kong, Mario Karts, Star Wars Lego, Dino Master and Incredibles the best.

I think I'm going to have convince my 6yo that SHE wants a DS for her birthday in March. I am desperate to have one and want Nintendogs which I think she'd enjoy as well
