Digital Camera for 6 year old

We want to get a digital camera for ds(6)
Can anyone recommend one? It needs to be simple to use and very robust. We want to get a 'real' one rather than a Fisher Price one.

I would imagine most of the well known brands would be pretty good for a child but Argos have a few in clearance that are half price and so fairly reasonable.

Realised that was not a very helpful post but have been looking at the kids cameras there and noticed the offers on the proper digi-cams.

Mimizan I have just ordered thisfor my dd's 6th birthday on Thurs but it hasn't arrived yet, I'll let you know what I think of it. I too wanted a 'real' one and its so reasonably priced as well. Of course it may be a load of utter crap

I think DS would burst a blood vessel and die if he was given a Barbie digital camera .
Is there a 'boy' version SCA?

It's good value though and probably less likely to break than a 'real' one.

oops should've read a bit closer..I'm sure there was a blue one, Power Rangers or something like that.

Ofcourse Spiderman. DS would love it. He's mad on Superman atm so that would be even better if available.

Are you getting it from Woolworths on-line or somewhere else? DSs birthday is on friday so I'll probably have to buy it from a shop.

probably a good idea to try and get in store if you can because I've ordered mine on line and it's taking forever to come, I'm hoping it comes tomorrow tbh.
