Hello Mummies Everywhere.
I am new to mumsnet and I would like to introduce myself. I have two little girls, Molly 5 and Charlotte 4 and I am currently opening a new online shop. I am Mad, I know! Do you ever just get an idea in your head and you just have to do it?
The reason I want to do it is because, I love being able to leave my girls to school and collect them again and my day job is really pressurised (targets and all) and I would just love to spend more time at home, going to the forest, collecting conkers, baking, gardening etc with the children. I know this sounds really cliche and I know that it is, but that it what I like to do.
I decided a few months ago that I would open a online shop and I have been slaving away for months on it. I am due to launch the site www.lottysloft.com in 4 weeks and I wanted to ask you for your advice.
Do any of you shop online? None of my friends shop online, some of them don;t even have email addresses! Do you think I am mad opening an online shop to sell unique home and giftware from Europe?
