Does anyone know what the difference is between a Nintendo DS and a DS Lite???

Can the same games be used for either?

Do you need to buy a memory card for it?

I have a DS lite and my nephew has a DS. I think the difference between them is the lite is not so bulky just a bit thinner. The games can be used on both (we share games- what a big kid!) I have not bought a memory card as you can save your games. Hope that helps.

That's great DUSTIN! DS1 wants one for Christmas and was just snooting through ebay for games! Great that you don't need a memory card to save games too.
Thank you

they are one and the same - 1 is thinner (the lite one) thats all. you can also play game boy advance games in them which are sometimes cheaper than ds games

Oooh, that's handy to know MOM!

Want to get him a couple of games but not spend too much IYSWIM? Would like a bit left over to buy him a couple of other bits so he does not think Santa has been stingy! (especially as at his age it will probably be the last year he believes ...)
