Sleepsuits for long legged baby

chipperchick · 26/10/2007 13:11

My baby is 6 weeks old and already the legs and feet of her 0-3 month sleepsuits are seeming a bit short. I don't want her to end up with curled toes! Does anyone know if there are particular brands that come up longer in length? Thanks!

Just buy the next size up.

in size order IME (small to large):
Boots
Tesco
Mothercare
Adams

but much easier just to get footless ones and some socks
or 3-6months and turn the cuffs up

O, cut the feet off the sleepsuits and use socks. I did this with DS1,

chipperchick · 26/10/2007 13:15

I could - but the rest of it would be swimming on her!

Baby Gap is tiny as well, IME

hmm, if you have one near you, Petit Bateau always seem skinny in the body but long in the length (lanky French babies) - am using their 6m stuff on dd (10wks) as they popper really well round her big cloth bottom.

Adsa ones seem to be long in the leg, and are cheap too.

I think Bump to 3 - the people who make Grogbags, do ones with sock type feet to attach - these

Expensive though.

MuffinMclay · 26/10/2007 13:47

John Lewis seem longer than average to me.

M&S are short in the leg, IME.

umma · 26/10/2007 21:06

I use the gro bag sleep suits from bump to 3, they are more pricey than others, £14 I think but this is for a pack of two. I think they are great, my son is long and I've gone through loads of sleep suits, now these will last ages. Take a look but basically the feet bit is stretchy so can grow with baby, they are nice and roomy too!

H&M do lovely sleepsuits without feet

JoyS · 28/10/2007 09:10

The H&M ones without feet are great, my DD is also very long-legged. A long-sleeve vest and grobag could work too.

I always bought the next or even the next size up. Or you could cut out the feet and put socks on
