Ok, for I've ranted a bit about this on AIBU however I just want the world of Mumsnet to hear my cautionary tale re Micralites....
Now, don't get me wrong, I love the look of it and the fact it's light and turns on a sixpence etc HOWEVER do you expect to spend nearly 200 quid on a pushchair where in the first 10 months, a front wheel has snapped off 3 times, the entire seat unit comes unstitched, and the sun visor (that's another 30 quid) also needs to be re-sewn??
I contacted Micralite directly however they have ignored all my correspondence. I bought it from Kiddicare so I've now emailed them to get a refund. It took Kiddiecare a total of a 3 weeks, a 24 email exchange and at least 3 premium rate phone calls to simply replace the wheel last time so I'm not convinced they'll sort it out before the warranty expires..
So there you go. They look great but (from my experience) there is a major problem with the front wheels that they haven't sorted making them, again in my view, dangerous.
There - feel a bit better now. this whole situation has mightily pissed me off!
