Any Camera/DSLR backpack recommendations?

Hi, I am trying to find a compact backpack to take my DSLR camera + at least 1, perhaps 2 lenses out on family day trips, bike rides that sort of things. ie am not a professional!
Everything I'm seeing is usually massive and ranging from very to mildly ugly. Has anyone found a nice looking DSLR backpack (leather? Nice waxed canvas?) that isn't absolutely huge that they could recommend please?

I had a similar issue when I was looking a few years ago. I ended up buying a cushioned insert that goes in a regular backpack and works fine, and also means you have space for other stuff. Looking on Amazon now there seems to be a better selection of backpacks, maybe the manufactures are finally realising women are in to photography too!
