Good? Bad? Ok?
Seems cheaper than our other options but seem to remember a lot of bad press a while ago-does anyone have it and have no problems? Or had it and changed to something else after problems?

it is a good deal except for us it took 6 whole bloody months for them to connect us properly! we wrote letters, phoned, emailed etc., and finally got connected. the customer service is pretty appalling.
however, this was a while ago,so things might have improved?

dont do it!

They are terrible and have no customer service. We were with them for 15 months. First there were connection problems, and they had to get someone out to the exchange, even tho it had worked fien before they took it over. The router took two months to arrive.

Then the adsl kept failing. If you call them about any errors you get an indian call center who insist there is nothing wrong with the service. The first time it went I spent 3 hours on the phone, an hour waiting then 2 hours trying to reason with an indian call center that the prob was their fault and not mine!

Eventually I got used to it and just had to live with no adsl for hours on end until it magically reappeared.

Then they accidently cut us off. When we asked them to put it back on they told us they couldn't and we'd have to go back to BT. Then they charged us £70 for the pleasure! We were left with no choice but to return to BT even though we had already paid another company line rental, because our line was cut. So we had to get a new line, and a new number and only BT would waive the £100 odd connection fee for doing this. So I lost a months line rental with the new compnay too.

I've already had to take carphone warehouse to court once over money they owed me, and it looks like I'll prob end up doing it again. I've wasted so much money with them, I really wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.

I would recomend my new provider, madasafish. So far it has all been really straightforward and the best thing is the customer service. No long queues and I've actually spoken to the same person three times when I've called. It is a much more personal service.
The only thing that is not so great with madasafish is that the wireless router they send out really is rubbish. We've sold ours and stuck to our old BT voyager.

adsl is faster with madasafish too for some reason.
