mountain buggy question

I have a second hand double mountain buggy terrain which came with the carrycot to use with it.
Now, aside from losing the instructions on fitting it (I had done it previously using instructions, so pretty sure I've got it right this time too) I am having a couple of problems.

1.) is is possible to fold it with the carrycot on? It's a pain to take off- it's the old version that poppers to the frame and faces outwards

2.) I have 2 straps with poppers on that I can't find anywhere to popper them to. One at the back which I think the instructions said to popper to the other seat- but there isn't anywhere to. and the other one on the front, again on the "inside" which must loop around and popper onto itself- but there doesn't seem to be anything obvious to wrap it around if that makes sense?

3.) would one of the new carrycots with the hood, that face you, fit onto my frame or do they only go on newer mountain buggies?

thank you for help

The instructions are on the website and you can download them here

fingerwoman · 23/10/2007 20:06

The newer carrycot has fold down clips, not poppers & straps so don't see how it would work. Sorry!

fingerwoman · 25/10/2007 20:56

but if the frame is basically the same and the carrycot comes with all attachments would it fit on? or are there specific bits on the frame that it clips onto?

can't anyone else help me?
particularly with the folding question? I can't believe they made it so that you have to unpopper and remove the entire thing every time- seems a bit silly.
no reply from MB themselves as yet

yes you can put new carrycots onto old frames-as i asked before
not sure about folding with carrycot on sorry

I've got a new one (urban) and you can't seem to fold it with the carrycot on - unless I am being thick and haven't worked out how.

Me too (new urban) and nope, no way to fold it with carrycot tho that pretty much goes for most pushchairs aside from m&p-type? Bit tedious, but it's only for a few months.
