What electrical slow cookers would you recommend

I am thinking of asking for one for Christmas, I like the idea of putting it on in the morning. I take it you can programme them to cook all day. There are five of us and I like to cook in bulk, so it needs to be a good size.
Also interested in pressure cookers. I don't know much about them either. Sure Jamie at home the other night and he did a soup in six minutes. I thought that can't be bad
