Which websites allow you to make the best photo books?

I made one through photobox but they didn't allow me to fill the pages with the photos as they left spaces for captions even when I didn't want captions.

I want to make a photobook of DD for DH's xmas present. I want to do a really stylish one.

Any recommendations?

snapfish do good ones. you can pick layout for each page, backgroud colours, themes, cover styles, and you can choose if you want captions or not. i've done one for dd's 1st year, nice for grandparents.

I did a nice one via Snapfish. We just did a paper backed on, but it came out really well. Planning on doing some hardbacked versions next.

haven't used them but I think this site looks really good

Thanks guys. Bobbooks looks gorgeous. Sadly the site was down last night so I could not get started but they really look amazing.

We have used this site for making small books of DS for various relatives, have found them very good, and extremely quick.

MrsMcSpooky · 23/10/2007 14:32

I've done a couple on Snapfish

Have a look at fotoinsight.co.uk/book. General feedback is that the FotoInsight Photobook is the easiest to use, most flexible design and best print. If you write FREEBOOKLET into the voucher code field you don't have to pay for delivery...;-)

The best photo book for Macintosh users is imho www.printing-1.co.uk, see also photobook comparison

I've just used www.myphotobook.at and very pleased with the results. The English version is www.myphotobook.co.uk but the price charged in pounds on the UK site is the same as charged in euros on the .de and .at sites. Moral of the story is it's cheaper in euros!
I previously used www.bobbooks.co.uk which are excellent but expensive. I will stick to myphotobook next time
