Problem with new icandy cherry - any cherry owners out there?

Hello, we picked up our icandy cherry yesterday - very pleased with it, BUT only when home discovered that secondary lock on handle doesn't automatically click into place when we put the chassis up, so can collapse it simply by pressing the big grey button. We can 'make' it work by pressing big grey button in, then pressing secondary lock up, but should we have to do this? Thought it was supposed to be antomatic? Hope this makes sense! Any thoughts? Do we take it back or do you all have to do this too?

I have a Cherry and I am not sure what you mean! To fold it up I have to press the little button near the big grey button and then push the big button and hey pesto! When opening it, I just shake it opan and there is a little 'click'!

I will have another look tomorrow as it is in the car boot at the moment and report back!

Did you get the whole package with the carrycot? The footmuff for the pushchair bit is soooo cosy!!

Hi, andyrobo, with ours you don't have to press the little button, so there's no safety catch. Think its a fault on ours as the little button has no purpose. Maybe we need to take it back to the shop and see what they say. We got the whole package inc footmuff - do you use the footmuff with the carrycot too or just with the pushchair bit? TIA.

Had a good look when out and about today - you definately need to press the little button on ours else the big grey button doesnt work! I guess there may be a fault on yours! Sorry!

I just used the footmuff with the pram - the carrycot was used more in the summer so a blanket was enough - but you may be able to use it in the carrycot!

Thanks, I've spoken to the shop and plan to take it back in this week - hopefully they'll swap the chassis for one that works! Always a bit concerning to have to return something when you haven't even used it yet!
