Recommend me a vacuum cleaner (how exciting)

I want a new one have just had a quick look there are hundreds !!

Am looking at Dyson DC19 cylinder, but am not sure if that is the best

we have a bissell which is really fab. It's pretty heavy, but probably not much different to the dyson.
it's very, very sucky

We have an old miele one (not an upright) which we got handed down seven years ago, goodness knows how old it is. I absolutely would not swap it for anything newer, spanglier or more expensive. These things are definitely built to last and never break down!!

yes, if I had to replace mine, I would get a miele one. My mum has one and it is lovely- very quiet.
